Γεια σου Ισραέλα
In Greek we have basically 3 groups of transitive verbs:
1. verbs which take a direct object (object in accussative case)
example: ξέρω εσένα / σε ξέρω
διαβάζω αυτό / το διαβάζω
2. verbs which take an indirect object (σε/ προς / για etc + accussative )
example: μιλάω σε εσένα
In this case we can replace "σε/ προς / για etc + accussative" by a genitive pronoun
example "σου μιλάω"
3. verbs which take direct and indirect object.
Example: δίνω αυτό σε εσένα / σου το δίνω
There are lists of the most common verbs in each group, but they are really long!
I would recommend you, when you learn a verb in Greek, to study its stracture at the same time. It is the best way to use them efficiently.
