The following apply to the Ask-Greek forum only. Click here for the Terms and Conditions that apply to the entire website.

Ask Greek is a FREE service. Anyone is welcome to ask questions about the modern Greek language, make comments or even answer other people's questions. You may ask questions even without registering.

Please understand that we can only answer questions that require a relatively short answer. Questions that require many pages of grammar rules to explain, will be ignored.

For example, we can easily answer to this question :
What is the past tense (αόριστος) of the verb “τρέχω”?

But it is impossible to give a short answer to this :
What are the rules and how do you use the past tense in Greek?

Please do not ask us to interpret the Bible because we are not theologists and the Bible is not written in modern Greek.

To assure quality and avoid spam, posts are moderated.

2) Make at least one useful post within 24 hours after registration. A simple “Thank you” or “Nice post” is not considered useful and may be deleted.
