A woman is making a reservation for a hotel room and the clerk says

"μείνετε ήσυχη"

I'm not sure what this means - is he telling the customer to not say anything? this seems rude.

The adjective ήσυχος, ήσυχη, ήσυχο means: silent, quiet, cool or calm.

The phrase "Μείνε ήσυχος" means "rest assured", "don't worry".
