Every database I try refuses to recognize it, and I've been stumped for hours! I've tried guessing at what the verb root might be and had no luck searching. It might be some kind of participle?

Hello

ετοιμασθέν means "prepared" (ancient Greek) and it is passive past participle.

It comes from the verb "ετοιμάζω" = "prepare" , in Simple Past Passive Voice -> "ετοιμάσθην"

ετοιμασθείς -> masculine

ετοιμασθείσα -> feminine

ετοιμασθέν -> neuter
