Hello, I need to know if the correct translation in Greek for "the body is the house of god
man, know thyself
and thou shalt know the gods" is "Το σώμα είναι το σπίτι του Θεού
Άνθρωπος, ξέρεις τον εαυτό σου
Και θα γνωρίσεις τους θεούς"; if not, what would you suggest? Also, even if not 100% correct, is the translation I stated above still usable? Thanks!

The correct translation in modern Greek is:
"Άνθρωπε, το σώμα είναι το σπίτι του Θεού.  Γνώρισε τον εαυτό σου και θα γνωρίσεις τους Θεούς."

"Γνώρισε τον εαυτό σου" is a well known phrase in ancient Greek: "γνῶθι σαὐτόν".

Thank you very much, Professor Baskos, so in other words, the translation I provided, while not entirely modern, is still correct? One of my friends had that tattooed on him and I wanted to let him know. Thanks!
Your translation seems to have come from google translate.  It is not entirely correct.
Ah, he will be very disappointed to hear this. Thanks!
