Can you please explain for me these two expressions:

ισα ισα

“Πότε πότε” means “every now and then”.

Πότε πότε πάω με τους φίλους μου για ποτό.  Every now and then I go with my friends for a drink.

“Ίσα ίσα” means narrowly, just enough.  Ex:

Ο μισθός μου μου φτάνει ίσα ίσα να βγάλω το μήνα.  My salary is just enough to make the month).

Ίσα ίσα may also mean “on the contrary”:

Δε πιστεύω να τους είπες ότι είμαι τεμπέλης.
Ίσα ίσα, σε υποστήριξα και είπα ότι δουλεύεις υπερωρίες.

I hope you did not tell them I am lazy.
On the contrary, I supported you and said you are working overtime.
