The Ancient greek middle participle of τρέχω is τρεχόμενος .

How did τρεχάμενος and τρεχούμενος end up in Modern Greek? And why are there two different forms (τρεχάμενο νερο / τρεχούμενος λογαριασμός)?

Hi, no use of τρεχόμενος in ancient greek.

Do you mean that the Ancient Greek τρεχόμενος in not used anymore in Modern Greek?
