What are the best textbooks for learning Modern Greek for an absolute beginner?

I've been searching for good textbooks written in English, but couldn't find any that covered all aspects of the language.

As with most cases in life, there is usually no "best" book/solution.  It depends on the student, the background, the age, personal preferences etc.

Some books have many pictures and colors.  While this may make them more appealing to some, they may create confusion to people with slight learning disabilities, attention deficit etc.
