What is the difference between "δουλεύω" and "λειτουργώ"?  When do we use each?  Could you give some examples please?

Λειτουργώ = operate, function (verb).

In regards to a device (usually a sophisticated one) it means that it functions or operates correctly. It is not broken.
example: η τηλεόραση λειτουργεί = a) the TV works, or b) the TV is working right now.

In regards to institutions or shops, it means working/operating:
Οι δημόσιες υπηρεσίες και τα καταστήματα λειτουργούνε Δευτέρα με Παρασκευή = Public services and shops are working Monday to Friday.

Δουλεύω = work (verb).

We can replace the word "λειτουργώ" with the word "δουλεύω", however we cannot do the opposite, we cannot always replace the word "δουλεύω" with the word “λειτουργώ”.

Δουλεύω means I function, I work, I work for pay, I have a job/employment.

Η τηλεόραση δουλεύει = a) the TV works, or b) the TV is working right now.
Δουλεύω σε τράπεζα = I work at a bank
Η Κατερίνα δουλεύει = a) Katerina is working right now, or b) Katerina has a job, she is not unemployed.
Μη μου μιλάς γιατί δουλεύω, δε θέλω να κάνω λάθος = Don’t talk to me, I am working, I don't want to make any mistake.
