Could you spell out the differences between κόσμος, λαός, and κοινό that all mean 'people' in English?

We use the word “κόσμος” when we refer to :  universe, planet Earth, all the people or a large number of people, society, guests.

We use the word “λαός” when we refer to :  people of a nation,  the people of a country that are governed by the elit of that country ie the higher ranking officers do not belong to “λαός”, the lower  classes of society.

“κοινό” means “audience” (when refering to people).  Otherwise "κοινό" means "common".
