"πολύ" and "πάρα πολύ"

I am not clear on the difference between "so much" "very much" and "too much" with the last being my major concern.

I get confused on the use of πολύ, and πάρα πολύ. I am really wanting to tell my aunt that she is giving me TOO MUCH food not just VERY MUCH food every time I go there for dinner.

There is no exact translation of "too much" in Greek.  The best translation is indeed "πάρα πολύ" which is also the translation of "very much".

You can say "υπερβολικά πολύ" (way too much).
