Hello! I am having trouble completing this phrase: "Όταν ταξιδεύεις σε μια ξένη χώρα και είσαι σε θέση να επικοινωνείς στη γλώσσα της χώρας και ενδιαφέρεσαι και για τη κουλτούρα, οι άνθρωποι εκεί..." Is there an equivalent to "they warm up to you"?

Thanks in advance!

If with the phrase "they warm up to you" you mean that people are warm, friendly and hospitable towards you, then the expression you are looking for is

"οι άνθρωποι εκεί σου φέρονται με ζεστασιά"

or "οι άνθρωποι εκεί είναι ζεστοί απέναντί σου"

or the figurative phrase "οι άνθρωποι εκεί σε αγκαλιάζουν" (αγκαλιάζω = embrace ).

If you mean that people encourage you, you can say: "οι ανθρωποι εκεί σε ενθαρρύνουν"

Thank you so much. The first three examples are what I needed. I often try to think in Greek. But I am also often stumped, like I was with this phrase.
Again, thanks a lot!
